"A bit of earth" on the high plains of Wyoming |

Reading the article made me think of some oils that I would want to add into the practice he described of putting your bare feet on grass or sand to allow electrons to come up into the body. This is like a major anti-oxidant treatment.
Valor (which comes in a 15-ml bottle or a 10-ml Roll-on) would be the first one I would apply.
Grounding is a blend of the following oils:

Fir, white (Abies concolor) creats a feeling of groudning, anchoring, and empowering.
Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) increases relaxation and balances male and female energies. It also restores confidenc and equilibrium.
Pine (Pinus sylvestris) energizes the entire body. It has a grounding, yet empowering aromatic effect.
Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) is high in sesquiterpenes, which can stiulate the limbic part of the brain, the center of emotions and memory. It stimulates the pineal gland, which releases melatonin, thereby improving thoughts, cognition, and memory. Cedarwood has been used for stabilizing and grounding oneself.
Angelica (Angelica archangelica) helps to bring memories back to the point of origin before trauma or anger was experienced, helping us to release negative feelings.
Juniper (Juniperus osteosperma and J. scopulorum) elevates spiritual awareness, creating feelings of love and peace.
So adding in any of these oils as singles would contribute to grounding efforts, and the blend makes even easier.

Galbanum is also a grounding oil. It is included in the essential oil blend of Gathering, which helps one to gather in scattered energy.
The fragrant influence of Galbanum is harmonic and balancing.2

Spiritual Layer
Although it may seem counter intuitive, grounding is one of the things that we must do to heal on the spiritual layer. If we are not fully grounded, with our spirits fully connected to our bodies, than we cannot heal. We NEED to be connected to the mother earth in a literal way in order for us to progress and learn what we need to in this mortal life. Without that connection, which is sometimes called the mind-body connection, we cannot heal on the spiritual layer. When we don't heal on any one of the four layers of healing - spiritual, mental, emotional and/or physical - the ailment may be cured of symptomatic behavior for a time, but the ailment will always come back. When we are grounded, we have gratitude for the earth, our body, and our chance to grow and progress in mortality. This is where grounding really starts to make sense!
"I don't like feet!" or "I don't like my feet to be touched!"
Have you ever heard that from anyone? Or do you feel like that? The reason that feeling or emotion is present is because that person does not want to be in their body and connected to the earth, and consequently, they aren't. This leads to the problems mentioned above, problems of not being fully immersed in the body and/or fully grateful for the body, and what it means to be in the body, connected to the earth, and having the opportunity to learn and grow in mortality. Just understanding this concept and acknowledging it is huge, meaning that it leads to resolving it. You can also use the mind/body connector point that you learn in Foot Zone to aid in this process. Energetically, anytime someone holds your feet, this calls your spirit to be fully immersed in your body, which is necessary for healing. Using the grounding techniques above - the bare feet in the grass, using the oils (like Valor - which gives you courage and confidence to face mortality!), affirming the root chakra - all these will resolve that emotion. You can also use the Emotion Code to free up that trapped emotion that no longer serves you.
Remember this: We need to be connected to the Earth! We need to stay with the Earth.3 If we do, will be caught up in the clouds of glory with the Savior, Jesus Christ, when he returns to the Earth.4
If we remain with the Earth we remain with Him. What a glorious day that will be!
